I had the pleasure of working alongside Mickael as his product lead at Mini Studio, where he was our frontend-heavy fullstack engineer. In a fast-paced startup environment with constantly shifting priorities, Mickael was exactly the kind of engineer you wanted in the trenches with you: fast, reliable, and always positive.
One moment that stands out: when we had just a couple of weeks to launch our product in Korea, Mickael worked relentlessly — staying up until 1, 2, even 3am — and did it all with a smile on his face. It was a massive feat and one of my favorite memories from our time together at Mini Studio.
What makes Mickael special goes beyond his speed as a developer. He's incredibly attentive to detail, making sure every screen and iteration matches spec perfectly. He's also one of the most versatile engineers I've worked with, always jumping in to help with QA, backend tasks, or supporting other frontend devs whenever he could. He doesn't just excel at his job; he makes everyone around him better.
On top of all that, Mickael is simply a joy to work with. His upbeat energy and willingness to go above and beyond made a real force of impact on our team. Any company looking for a talented, dedicated, and genuinely great frontend or fullstack engineer would be lucky to have him.
